Get a solid introduction to the Peranakan culture and cuisine through a series of activities which includes visits to local markets (e.g. KK market), a demonstration by our ethnic Chef, and hands-on learning of Peranakan recipes. At the market we will guide you through the process of buying the right ingredients and back in our professional kitchen you will learn how to prepare some of the authentic Peranakan dishes like Nanas Asam, Sayur Lodeh, Nonya Achar, Spicy dry shrimp and more.

If you feel confident about mastering the basics of Peranakan cooking, join our intermediate course.
